Project problems
  • The site was developed on the Khoroshop platform (it is not possible to make all technical changes and improvements)
  • The previous company optimized the site specifically for Kyiv, and the customer's task was for all of Ukraine.
  • Invalid nested URL (needs a 301 friendly redirect).

The main problem was that the site was optimized for one region - the city of Kyiv. After that, immediately removing all content from the main pages and meta tags related to Kyiv was unsuccessful, leaving the threat of getting sanctioned by Google. Therefore, the work on changing the content was done in layers, and regional semantics were transferred to the "Shop in Kyiv" page. This work was carried out for three months. During this work in November, we encountered a drop in traffic. This was also preceded by a seasonal drop in traffic. But already in January the situation improved.
