Case study of setting up a sales campaign for a wholesale online store

Steps to set up Google Shopping

This month, a number of the following works were carried out:

  1. Creating a Google Ads and Merchant Center advertising account and configuring them meets the requirements.
  2. Setting up goals and audiences in Google Analytics.
  3. Connections and a number of internal works have been carried out between Google Ads, Merchant Center and Google Analytics.
  4. Creating and configuring a feed to launch a shopping advertising campaign. Importing it into Google Merchant Center.
  5. Advertising was created for Google shopping all products and appropriate work was carried out to optimize it. In addition, at the beginning of the cooperation, the product range was segmented into groups for convenient analysis and correction.
  6. Several advertising needs were created in accordance with the site structure. A number of optimization works were carried out for each campaign.

If a client uses different products, we moved their site structure to Google Merchant Center. This way, we can now quickly include and exclude the necessary products from advertising.

We created simple commerce of any kind, as well as campaigns for remarketing, dynamic remarketing based on the product ads feed. We monitored the skin with feeling and redistributed the budget according to the number of sales. More effective campaigns received more budget funds, weaker ones - less. Once a week, manual bid management was used to reduce the cost of end customers and increase the conversion rate. As you can see in the screenshot below, we provided different categories of products in separate product campaigns. This strategy turned out to be effective. In addition to the methods mentioned, other methods of campaign optimization will also be used that do not allow the cost of click to increase. And work on their reduction in order to get a larger number of new users within the given budget.
