Merchant Center unlocking case for an online skincare cosmetics store
Ternopil IT company GoldenWeb Digital received a request from an online store of skin care cosmetics related to the blocking of a Merchant Center account. The previous account had exhausted all possibilities for re-verification, so unblocking Merchant Center became impossible. Because of this, further actions were focused on preparing to create a new account.
What measures were taken after realizing that it was impossible to unlock the Google account?
It was decided to completely reformat the site in accordance with Google policies, because unlocking the Google account in this case meant building everything from scratch in compliance with the necessary requirements.
To prepare the site for a full launch of advertising and compliance with Google rules, the Golden-Web Digital team performed a set of phased measures.

In parallel, Google advertising setup was started to implement a new campaign. Since Google advertising is planned to be launched in the Shopping format, the stages of adding product lines to the platform are currently being implemented. It was also proposed to start basic SEO optimization to improve the organic visibility of the site and increase advertising effectiveness.
As part of the Aichi case, Golden Web Digital was able to implement:
- Closing the previous Merchant Center account;
- Complete site update in accordance with Google requirements;
- Connecting Search Console and creating a new account;
- A comprehensive commercial promotion plan that high-quality Google advertising requires.
Further project support is provided, including technical support and advertising launch. The client plans to order advertising after the full upload of product items and the finalization of all preparatory stages.
