Launching Google Shopping - preparatory work

The main objective of the project was to increase sales. The focus was on search companies, this company is only engaged in wholesale sales.

  1. Creating a Google Ads account.
  2. Google Analytics settings.
  3. Google Tag Manager settings.

To connect GA and GTM, the Analytics tracking ID and the Tag Manager container ID are added and activated in the site admin. Tracking tags and dynamic remarketing tags were configured in the GTM account, e-commerce was configured in Google Analytics, tracking goals and remarketing audiences were created. Google Ads was connected to GMC and Google Analytics, conversions and audiences were imported from Analytics to the advertising account. When everything was ready to launch advertising diseases, we started setting up the campaign itself.

Launch of Golden Web advertising specialists

We collected a semantic core from search queries related only to wholesale trade. We analyzed the pages of the site related to these categories and positions in the query results, which become the basis for ads. We also worked on and supplemented the list of negative words, checked whether the fields and forms for placing orders worked correctly.

All available extensions were used in the ads: additional links, phone numbers, addresses, clarifications, structured descriptions. This increased the informativeness and size of the ads displayed for key queries.

Dynamic advertising was involved. In addition to classic search campaigns, Google Dynamic Search Campaigns were also connected.
